Now, you will soon able to own the most “fABBAulous” movie musical prequel-sequel of the year… Mamma Mia!: Here We Go Again. It is set to hit the shelves on Blu-Ray and DVD on October 23rd, 2018. BREAKING NEWS: Broadway veteran Lisa Brescia has been tapped to join the Broadway company of the Tony and Grammy winning smash hit Dear Evan Hansen next month.
Beginning August 7th, 2018 at the Music Box Theatre, the former Aida, WICKED The Musical, and Mamma Mia! star will replace the show’s original Tony winning cast member Rachel Bay Jones in the role of “Heidi Hansen” (the loving, caring, and struggling mother to the title character). Brescia previously filled in as a temporary standby and covered the role of “Heidi” during Jones’ vacation time off from the show.
Jones (who won a Tony for Best Featured Actress in a Musical) as previously announced will take her final bow on August 5th, 2018.

The story continues 10 years later on the Greek Island. Sophie and Sky now run the Villa (that Sophie’s late Mother Donna originally owned) and are expecting their first child. When her beloved aunts (and Donna’s co-DYNAMO bandmates) Tanya and Rosie show up, Sophie expresses her fears of living a life on her own with Sky without her mother there. To make her feel comfortable and giving Sophie faith, Tanya and Rosie tell the full life story of Donna’s whirlwind life of how far she’s achieved and did so much.

BREAKING NEWS: The legendary Cher has been tapped appear in the upcoming musical sequel Mamma Mia!: Here We Go Again. In the new film, she will star as the never before seen mother of “Donna Sheridan” (Meryl Streep as the older and Lily James as the younger”.
Cher (who is bringing her story to Broadway next year with The Cher Show) will join the previously announced original principal cast from the first Mamma Mia! film including Streep, Amanda Seyfried, Pierce Brosnan, Christine Baranski, and more along with some exciting new cast members playing the characters we know in the ABBA in younger formation.
