In addition, there will be a lineup of veteran members expecting to make surprise appearance at certain performances. You never know who may show up but the guest lineup appearing at selected shows will include…..
Lin-Manuel Miranda himself (a.k.a. “Lin-Man”),
Tony winner Daveed D. Diggs (a.k.a. Mr. Diggs”),
Tony nominee Christopher Jackson (a.k.a. C-Jack)
Bill Sherman (a.k.a. “King Sherman”).
FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME got their start performing around New York City both in the Drama Book Shop, on the streets, and various small venues in New York City including Ars Nova
and Joe’s Pub
. They also made their International debut overseas in Edinburgh, Scotland at their Festival Fringe
. They later have had their own TV show on Pivot. Miranda, Jackson, Sherman, and several members were also on board with a little PBS
Kids show called The Electric Company.
To commemorate their 15th Anniversary (following the success of HEIGHTS and HAMILTON), FREESTYLE LOVE SURPEME brought their act OFF Broadway playing the Greenwich Theatre downtown. It was well received, the production made their way ON Broadway back in 2019 playing the Booth Theatre for a limited engagement of over 130 performances.
Following the Broadway encore, the group will also be touring across North America.
We are so excited to have an amazing night of fun as Broadway reopens its doors with one of the hottest hip-hop improv groups ever.
