FROM GLEE CLUB MEMBER, TO SUPERHERO, TO NATURAL WOMAN. Get a first look at Glee favorite and Supergirl star Melissa Benoist in costume as she continues to gear up for her long awaited Broadway Debut as “Carole King” in the Tony and Grammy winning smash hit Beautiful – The Carole King Musical.
Benoist will FEEL THE MOVE 8 times a week beginning June 7th, 2018 through August 4th, 2018 at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.
The Broadway Company’s long running leading lady Chilina Kennedy is taking a leave of absence from BEAUTIFUL to appear in the new Off Broadway show THIS AIN’T NO DISCO at the Atlantic Theater Company. Kennedy will take her final bow on June 6th, 2018 but it set to return in August 2018 following Benoist’s run.
In addition for all you ultimate GLEEKS out there who love Melissa Benoist and are planning to see her in BEAUTIFUL, be sure to join us on our GLEEKS OF BROADWAY Walking Tour as a little Pre-Show fun. BREAKING NEWS: Melissa Benoist (known on TV as “Marley Rose” on Glee and the title role on Supergirl) is set to make her long awaited Broadway Debut as the new leading lady of the Tony and Grammy winning smash hit Beautiful – The Carole King Musical.
From June 7th through August 4th, 2018, Benoist will be taking over the starring role of the Grammy winning singer/songwriter “Carole King” at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.
The show’s long running leading lady Chilina Kennedy (who just played her 1,000th performance as “Carole” earlier this year) will be taking another full summer leave of absence from the production. She will be taking her final bow the week of June 3rd, 2018. However, Kennedy will be returning to the show in August.
