The curtain just went down on the 30th Anniversary Gala performance of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s legendary musical The Phantom of the Opera. It was a spectacular MASQUERADE indeed at the Majestic Theatre with a breathtaking performance by the current Broadway company and a spectacular 30th Anniversary finale hosted by Andrew Lloyd Webber and producer Cameron Mackintosh that included….

Broadway’s current masked man himself Swedish sensation and International PHANTOM star Peter J?back joined onstage by a surprise appearance by the original ANGEL OF MUSIC herself Sarah Brightman performing a rock version of the title song accompanied by kids from the current Broadway cast of Lloyd Webber’s other current Broadway hit School of Rock the Musical,

a full onstage reunion by the original Broadway cast singing MASQUERADE,

and a cake being wheeled on stage paying tribute to PHANTOM’s big 3 decades on Broadway and also for the show’s legendary Hal Prince who will be celebrating his 90th Birthday next week which the company sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY before confetti and streamers cannons erupted all over the Majestic Theatre.
