Today, THERE WILL BE SUN for the very last time here on Broadway for the Tony nominated and Olivier Award winning smash hit Groundhog Day Musical (starring 3 time Tony nominee and Olivier Award winner Andy Karl) as it plays it’s final performance at the August Wilson Theatre following a complete total of 208 performances.
The show had an incredible journey from London’s West End before heading to our Broadway backyard where it had a little bit of a rocky start with technical problems and much more. But, it still went strong despite low ticket sales. However, up next for the Tim Minchin musical will be an 18 month National Tour in 2018.
