DID YOU KNOW: There’s a brother act going on in THE ROOM WHERE IT HAPPENS. 2 real life sibblings are currently appearing in the Award winning smash hit Hamilton: An American Musical. Meet the Treco Brothers who were both born in the Bahamas, raised in Aurora, Colorado, and set off to NYC to reach out for their Musical Theatre dreams.

Gregory Treco (who appeared on Broadway in the short lived Boy George cult classic Taboo the musical) started off in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s smash hit as a standby in Broadway company and now is currently starring as the show’s narrator / villain “Aaron Burr” in the sit-down Chicago company at the CIBC Theatre

and

Mathenee Treco is currently appearing on the 1st National Touring company (known as The ANGELICA Tour) playing the dual roles of “Hercules Mulligan” and “John Adams” which is now playing in Denver.

See?! It runs in the family!!

?I love my direct connection with the show. I?m an immigrant, telling the story of an immigrant who shaped a nation, and a financial system that influenced the entire world.? Gregory and Mathenee Treco spoke with The Denver Post about their experience as immigrants from the Bahamas and what it is like performing as brothers in separate versions of Hamilton at the same time.
