ATENCION! The horrific events of the coronavirus is abruptly effecting everything in the entertainment industry from stage to screen. It has just been announced that the film adaptation of Lin-Manuel Miranda's Award winning smash hit In The Heights will delay its theatrical release. The film was set to be released on June 26th, 2020. The newly rescheduled release date will be announced soon once everything settles back in.

According to Miranda during his appearance on the one night only livestream of The Rosie O'Donnell Show, he and the entire creative team of the film were still in the editing process of putting all the pieces together including adding the full expanded orchestrations in sync to the picture. During the time, production was abruptly shut down due to this time of quarantine.

Warner Bros. Postpones IN THE HEIGHTS Film Indefinitely

Warner Bros. announced today that the release of the film adaptation of In the Heights has been postponed indefinitely. According to Variety, the film, which was scheduled to be released on June 26, remains undated for now as Warner Bros. is now looking for a new time to release In the Heights.
