THRILLIFYING NEWS: There are some new faces making their way into the MERRY OLD LAND OF OZ. The Broadway company of the smash hit WICKED The Musical will be welcoming 2 new fresh faces (new to the Stephen Schwartz musical) to the stage of the Gershwin Theatre.

Beginning February 18th, 2019, Broadway veteran Michael McCormick (Broadway's Kiss of the Spider-Woman, the recent revival of The Pajama Game, Curtains the Musical, and previously seen on the Great White Way in the recent Tony winning revival of Hello, Dolly on Broadway) will take over the role of the not so "Wonderful Wizard of Oz" from Tony nominee Kevin Chamberlin (who takes his final bow this Sunday, February 17th, 2019),

Beginning March 12th, 2019, Drama Desk Award nominee Gizel Jimenez (Off Broadway's Miss You Like Hell and recently seen in her history making performance becoming the first ethnic actress to play the dual roles of "Kate Monster" and "Lucy The Slut" in Avenue Q) will make her Broadway debut rolling in a wheelchair and taking in charge of Oz as the Wicked Witch of the East herself "Nessarose" from Kristen Martin (who takes her final bow March 10th, 2019).

Who is excited about these 2 celebrated talents joining the cast of Broadway's longest running Blockbuster ever?
