April marks as Autism Awareness Month!! This is a very powerful and inspiring time to spread, love, kindness, and joy to all those on the spectrum and all those with special needs. One of our personal favorite inspirational Arts documentaries came out in 2005 entitled YELLOW BRICK ROAD.
The documentary follows a group of people from the A.N.C.H.O.R (Answering the Needs of Citizens with Handicaps Through Organized Recreation) program as they prepare and perform a ONE NIGHT ONLY performance of The Wizard of Oz. It’s very heartwarming as you take the ultimate journey down THE YELLOW BRICK ROAD as they go through the trials and tribulations of performing in front of a live audience.
