YOU OUGHTA KNOW, they're ready to raise their fingers high and rock!!! The company of this year's 15 time (and most) Tony nominated hottest smash hit Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill are all set to officially reunite next month for a one night only special virtual concert event!!!
Recorded and live-streamed from Shubert Studios, fans will enjoy this virtual reunion concert entitled JAGGED LIVE IN NYC from the comfort of their own homes an electrifying evening of some of the show's high energetic, fierce, angry, uplifting, and rocking anthems. You can expect performances from its newly Tony Award nominated stars Elizabeth Stanley, Celia Rose Gooding, Sean Allan Krill, Derek Klena, Lauren Patten, Kathryn Gallagher, the full Ensemble cast along with its rocking band. This reunite of the company comes 10 month after the show was abruptly shutdown on March 12th, 2020 due to the coronavirus.
This virtual livestreamed concert is set for December 13th, 2020 at 8pm EST. It will also be the first Broadway show to team up with Stellar, a brand new premium streaming platform designed specifically for live performances. It also will be part of the ongoing #SaveOurStages movement in helping rebuild the New York Theater community. As many of us know, this horrific COVID-19 pandemic took a huge toll on our community (especially how it caused many Theaters to shut down leaving artists out-of-work, struggling financially, and more).
JAGGED LITTLE PILL is expecting to be one of the many shows set to return when Broadway resumes performances in 2021. If anyone makes it to NYC when it resumes performances, be sure to see it at the Broadhurst Theatre.
