ON THE MARQUEE: Today commemorates a very bittersweet day for Broadway as the Tony winning Moulin Rouge officially does its final CAN-CAN spectacle for the last time after 7 YEARS. The show takes its final bow at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre after 24 PREVIEWS and 2,297 REGULAR PERFORMANCES marking it the 36th Longest Running Show in Broadway History!!!

With the closing day, there is one cast change that will historically kick off that final performance. Tour cast member Christian Douglas returns to play the role of the struggling writer “Christian”. He reunites with his closing castmates consisting of….

The Voice and Broadway powerhouse Kelsie Watts who will close the run as THE SPARKLING DIAMOND herself “Satine”

&

Broadway veteran Eric Anderson, who was part of the early workshops, closing out as the ringmaster and owner of the hottest club “Harold Zidler”.

This is our chance to see the front of house billboards of the Al Hirschfeld Theatre one last time. As of tomorrow, they’re not coming back for MORE, MORE, MORE!!!

After NYC, MOULIN ROUGE will continue to live on with its ongoing international companies including in London’s West End, Australia, Germany, Seoul, Japan, and a World Tour company.
