So not POPULAR!! Theater Etiquette has truly gone insane from the use of phones and cameras, to horrific stage door behavior, and now it’s gotten even more NOT THRILLIFYING FOR GOOD!!
At one of the most prior 23rd Anniversary week performances of the long running blockbuster WICKED, a social media “influencer” model by the name of Eden The Doll, decided to take the ultimate definition of what she thought was DEFYING GRAVITY to the next level. After the show, the woman and her friends decided to jumping on the stage of the Gershwin Theater, for an impromptu photoshoot at the audience was leaving. She posted the pictures on her Instagram to please her 579,000 followers. Some of the poses she did as well was also very inappropriate!!
While the shoot was going on, Eden The Doll’s friends who was helping her out, placed all their belongings on the divider between the seats and the orchestra pit
Thankfully, WICKED’s production stage manager and front of house ushers confronted Eden The Doll, asking her and her friends to leave.
P.S.A.: You are NOT allowed to jump onto a Broadway stage. This is because of copyrights…… Scenic designs, custom lighting presets, painted show curtains, and choreography are legally protected intellectual property belonging to the designers and production companies. It it is also strict rules enforced by Actors’ Equity Association, Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, and the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees. It also causes safety hazards. As you all know, WICKED is very high teched.
Shame on you Eden The Doll!!! This is completely disgusting and grotesque indeed.
Thoughts on this behavior?!
