BREAKING NEWS: Tony nominee and Grammy winner Keala Settle was recently terminated by SAG-AFTRA! The Hands on a Hardbody, Waitress, Les Miserables, The Greatest Showman, and Wicked Movie standout took to social media explaining she was “Booted Out” without prior warning or heads up.

Since her career skyrocketed in The Greatest Showman as bearded lady “Lettie Lutz” who sang the Oscar nominated THIS IS ME, the Hawaii born singer and actress left the Big Apple, moving to England, where she’s gone on to incredible success on the West End. Most recently, she starred as Shiz headmistress “Miss Coddle” in the Wicked film series. She did all of this while still being proud members of Actors’ Equity Association (the union that supports Theater actors) and SAG/AFTRA (the union of film and television).

However it all changed for Settle explaining out of the blue while paying her twice a year union dues, SAG/AFTRA terminated her membership. She even explained it’s been going on to members who are members in the US. No reasons why they did this to one spectacular versatile superstar.

Our hearts are broken. So unfair to Keala.
