GET HIM TO THE CHURCH ON TIME! It has just been announced that Tony Award nominated performer Alexander Gemignani (Broadway's Chicago The Musical, the 2005 revival of Sweeney Todd NYC, the 2006 revival of Les Mis?rables US, and previously seen in the recent revival of Carousel on Broadway) is set to return to the Great White Way next month in the Award winning Lincoln Center Theater revival of My Fair Lady on Broadway. Beginning April 30th, 2019 at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre, he will take over the role of the good-for-nothing drunk of a father "Alfred P. Doolittle".
Tony nominee Danny Burstein (who currently plays the role) is set to end his limited engagement in the production on April 28th, 2019 before heading into rehearsals for the Broadway engagement of Moulin Rouge The Musical (scheduled to begin previews June 28th, 2019 and officially open July 25th, 2019 at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre).
