DELICIOUS NEWS: The Broadway company of the Tony and Grammy nominated smash hit Waitress the Musical has found a new leading lady. Beginning July 23rd, 2019 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, Broadway veteran Alison Luff (Broadway's Ghost the Musical, the revival of Les Miserables – Musical, and last seen in Escape to Margaritaville: The Musical) will take over the role of pregnant pie maker "Jenna".
In addition, the show's current leading lady Shoshana Bean has just extended and will serve her last pie on July 21st, 2019.
FUN FACT: Luff and Bean are alumni Green Girls in WICKED The Musical. They both played "Elphaba" during different timings on the Emerald City 1st National Tour. Luff played the role for a year long contract on the road from 2013-2014. Meanwhile, Bean did a limited engagement during the tour stop in Toronto (fresh off of appearing in the Broadway cast where she served as the first fulltime "Elphaba" repalcement) back in 2006.

It was announced today that Alison Luff with join the Broadway cast as Jenna on July 23rd. Shoshana Bean, who was previously set to perform through July 7th, will extend her run and play her final performance on July 21st.
