The smash hit Anastasia The Musical celebrates the 1st Anniversary of starting Broadway previews today.
In honor of the milestone, check out this all new video featuring the show’s leading lady Christy Altomare performing one of the new songs written for the musical (based on the FOX films) by Lynn Ahrens & Stephen Flaherty called IN MY DREAMS. The song is performed early in the first act when the musical’s central character “Anya” (a young street sweeping orphan who has amnesia) first meets the 2 mischievous conmen “Dmitry” and “Vlad” in the abandoned Yusupov Palace in St. Petersburg, Russia. She slowly beings to remember several things about her early life and knowing that someone in her family is still possibly alive… her only hint that it lies in Paris.
