THE INTERMISSION IS ALMOST OVER!!! The Big Apple is starting to wake up once more…. even more. It has just been revealed by New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio that the city is set to fully reopen at a 100% capacity beginning July 1st, 2021. All of this consist of Theaters, Stores, Businesses, Offices, and more.
The city is starting to take a slow and steady approach in re-opening and there have been great responses from people that have been taking the COVID-19 vaccines.
Official details on reopening all the Broadway shows will be announced at a later time.

BREAKING NEWS: Get ready to SCREECH IN as production on the highly anticipated filmed presentation of the groundbreaking Award winning smash hit Come From Away has begun.
Produced by eOne Films and in
association with RadicalMedia, the creative team are reunited joining forces with the New York ISLANDERS (mix of the original Broadway and Replacement cast) rehearsing and shooting these next few day on the stage of Broadway’s Gerald Schonefeld Theatre without its usual sold out audiences.
The filmed presentation is directed by
Come From Away‘s director Tony winner Christopher Ashley. It’s expecting to be released this September 2021.
The actual stage production of COME FROM AWAY is expecting to be one of the many shows returning when Broadway reopens its doors later this year. Along with the New York company, it will also relaunch its a US National Tour & its London company. Currently, the only production of the show performed right now is the Australian company.

BREAKING NEWS: For the 2nd year in a row, MCC Theater will be presenting their annual MISCAST Gala virtual style next month instead of it being a traditional in-person fancy gathering. This year's edition is set for May 16th, 2020 at 8pm EST only on YouTube for FREE for all Theater lovers to watch. It only will be up for a strictly limited time through May 20th, 2021.
To recap and remind everyone, MISCAST is an annual gala concert produced by Off Broadway's Broadway's MCC Theater. It serves as a benefit to help raise money and support the company's future. All of this consist of future productions, their Youth Company, and their in-school partnerships (serving BOTH NYC public high school students and their literary development work with emerging playwrights). celebration. The concert itself features of the biggest names from The Great Bright Way (as well as Film and TV) as they center stage belting out Broadway songs from roles in which they would never be EVER cast as…. but you never know.
