Last night at the 5th Anniversary performance of smash hit Beautiful – The Carole King Musical on Broadway, the sold out crowd got a huge SOME KIND OF WONDERFUL surprise. Instead of leading lady Chilina Kennedy walking out on stage as the Grammy winning singer-songwriter Carole King during the final scene (which King makes her legendary 1971 debut at Carnegie Hall), the real NATURAL WOMAN herself took to the stage as herself recreating that iconic moment on stage of the Stephen Sondheim Theatre singing the show's title song before joining the cast at bows for a rousing encore of I FEEL THE EARTH MOVE. How amazing is that?
