BREAKING NEWS: Broadway & Live Theater is starting to make a comeback. What an unforgettable lineup of shows returning. In addition, we are so excited to be welcoming some brand new productions making their way to the Big Apple.

Following a successful 2018 OFF Broadway run, Lincoln Center Theater / LCT3 production of Antoinette Chinonye Nwandu's acclaimed play Pass Over will be transferring ON Broadway.

Under the direction of Obie Award winner Danya Taymor, the production will play Broadway's August Wilson Theatre (most recently the former home of Mean Girls: The Musical) for a strictly limited engagement. Official starting preview, opening, and closing dates will be announced at a later time.

In case anyone may not know, Antoinette Chinonye Nwandu's PASS OVER takes place on a city street corner. The story is inspired and mashes up Waiting for Godot and The Exodus story. It centers on "Moses" and "Kitch" who dream of a promised land. One day a stranger wanders into their spirit disrupts their plans, and changes their lives forever. The play's themes capture the everyday profanities into poetic and humorous riffs, illuminating the unquestionable human spirit of young men looking for a way out

Nwandu created the play back in 2016 following that year's Presidential Election and how it effected the world. It had its world premiere in Chicago at the Steppenwolf Theatre. During its run there, it was also captured on film by Spike Lee for Amazon Prime.

It made its New York City debut at the Claire Tow at Lincoln Center Theater / LCT3 the following year in 2018 for a 2 month run.

Who is excited?!!!
