BREAKING NEWS: Today was a very bittersweet day for the Award winning smash hit Hamilton as the Broadway company's leading Michael Luwoye officially stepped ONE LAST TIME into THE ROOM WHERE IT HAPPEN at the Richard Rodgers Theatre this afternoon after an incredible year long run.

For Luwoye, he made history with Lin-Manuel Miranda's groundbreaking show as the first African American actor to play the title role of the 10 DOLALR FOUNDING FATHER himself "Alexander Hamilton". After initially auditioning for the dual roles for "Hercules Mulligan" and "James Madison", Luwoye unexpectedly was offered the role of "Alexander Hamilton" marking it his Broadway debut. He joined the cast in 2016 replacing Javier Munoz as the alternate (after Munoz replaced Miranda in the role fulltime) earning rave reviews. In 2017, he departed the Broadway production to go originate the roe of "Alexander Hamilton" on the show's Angelica 1st National Tour. He spent 10 months with the touring company before returning to the Broadway cast playing the role fulltime 8 times a week for a full year.

No word has been announced on who will be replacing Luwoye as the next "Alexander Hamilton" on Broadway.
