BREAKING NEWS: The hottest man of mystery is about to hit the Great White Way. The musical adaptation Magic Mike is heading to the Great White Way!!
The show will have its world premiere pre-Broadway run at the newly reopened and renovated Emerson Colonial Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts. Previews is set to begin on November 30th, 2019, Opening Night set for December 15th, 2019, and will run through January 5th, 2020.
MAGIC MIKE (based on the acclaimed 2012 film of the same name) is inspired by a true story. It follows a young college student turned stripper. The creative team will feature….
Direction by Trip Cullman (Manhattan Theatre Club's Choir Boy),
an original score by Tony and Pulitzer Prize winners Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey (Next to Normal, If/Then Musical, and Freaky Friday),
book by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Riverdale),
and choreography by Camille A. Brown (the recent Tony winning revival of Once On This Island Broadway).
No word has been made for casting or when the show will hit Broadway.
