FIRST LISTEN: Melissa Benoist is hard at work in rehearsals for her Broadway Debut as Carole King in the Tony and Grammy winning smash hit Beautiful – The Carole King Musical. Check out the Glee and Supergirl star rehearsing on the stage of the Stephen Sondheim Theatre performing one of Carole’s most beloved hits (and the musical’s opening song) SO FAR AWAY.
You can see Melissa Benoist FEEL THE EARTH MOVE 8 times a week in BEAUTIFUL on Broadway. She begins her run tomorrow and play a limited run through August 4th, 2018.
The show’s current and longtime leading lady Chilina Kennedy will take her final bow tonight before leaving to appear in the new musical THIS AIN’T NO DISCO at Atlantic Theater Company this summer. Kennedy however is set to return to BEAUTIFUL in August (following Benoist’s run).
