BREAKING NEWS: These past few weeks have been emotionally exciting for our friends overseas in the UK as London’s West End has been starting to reopen its doors. As part of the WELCOME HOME festivities, cast members from your favorite West End shows are reuniting for a special virtual livestreamed concert event.

The concert entitled The Shows Must Go On is set to be livestreamed this Sunday, June 6th, 2021 at 2pm EST via its YouTube channel. From the stage of London’s Palace Theatre (home of the Award winning Harry Potter and the Cursed Child), the lineup will feature performances from the London companies of….

LUMOS!!! Live Theater is beginning to see the light at the end of the long tunnel. This past year along has been really rough for everyone in the Theater community and especially for our friends in THE WIZARDING WORLD. One of the many shows expecting to return to our Broadway scene is the Award winning smash hit play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

In case anyone may not know, the play is a continuation of J.K. Rowling‘s best selling Harry Potter book series. It features a script all written by Rowling along with John Tiffany and Jack Thorne. Waitress: The Hit Broadway Musical

SAMPLE PIE!!! According to its website, another tease has just been posted that the Tony and Grammy nominated smash hit Waitress is possibly RE-OPENING UP on Broadway. The post mentions the following…..

THE DINER IS CURRENTLY CLOSED WE CAN’T WAIT TO WELCOME YOU AGAIN WHEN BROADWAY REOPENS. HOPE TO SEE YOU IN THE FALL.

This comes following an initial discussion by the show’s producer Barry Weissler in a discussion with the The Wall Street Journal. He has been talking of a possible revival of WAITRESS set to be back on Broadway for a strictly limited run. Reuniting its original creative team led by Tony winner Diane Paulus, the cast will be led by the show’s Tony nominated and Grammy winning composer Sara Bareilles starring as “Jenna Hunterson”, a role she played 3 limited engagements during the show’s original Broadway run.

The original run of WAITRESS played Broadway’s Brooks Atkinson Theatre for 33 previews and 1,544 regular performances.

Alanis Morissette Announces Tour Dates Celebrating 25 Years of ‘Jagged Little Pill’

The groundbreaking Tony nominated and Grammy winning musical Jagged Little Pill is based on the legendary pop-rock 1995 album by Alanis Morissette which went on to top the charts and win 5 Grammy Awards. Last summer, Morrissette was originally set to hit the road playing the full original album LIVE in support of its 25th Anniversary. However, it was postponed due to the news and continuation of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Breaking: Jordan Fisher Will Rejoin DEAR EVAN HANSEN on Broadway- Watch the GMA Performance!

In case you missed it this morning or just woke up now, the Broadway cast of the groundbreaking Award winning smash hit Dear Evan Hansen have all reunited in person for a very special performance on Good Morning America. From Times Square, here is Jordan Fisher and the cast performing the musical’s powerful theme anthem (and very appropriate for the time we’re living in today) YOU WILL BE FOUND. It’s also a history making performance as the first IN-PERSON Broadway show performance ever since March 12th, 2020, the day when Live Theater went dark.
