BREAKING NEWSL The incredible Linda Eder released debuted her take on SHE USED TO ME MINE from Waitress. This was a popular requested song by the performer’s fanbase.

With a little help from GarageBand, the Jekyll & Hyde star took to the microphone once again in the studio basement of her Connecticut farmhouse to lay down this song her take on one of the most emotional 11:00 Musical Theater songs ever written.

Get those tissues ready before watching.

SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical (Video Montage)

TOOT TOOT, BEEP, BEEP!! Live Theater is making its triumphant comeback all back to stages around the world including National Tours of some of Broadway’s best shows. One of the shows that is returning is the Tony nominated smash hit Summer: The Donna Summer Musical. The HOT STUFF is coming back.

According to several Theaters in North America hosting Broadway National Tours, the production has been rescheduled for 2022. It’s scheduled to DISCO its way to the following cities…..

Chicago, IL,
St. Antonio, TX,
Nashville, TN,
and
the real Donna Summer’s hometown of Boston, MA.

Originally, the 1st National Tour of SUMMER was shutdown back in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In May 2020, it was announced that the production was fully closed just several months after launching in the Fall 2019. No word though has been said if this is an actual rescheduling of the 1st National Tour that was happening or its going to directly to being a Non Equity 2nd National Touring company.

Startin’ Somethin’ on December 6th | MJ

Broadway is getting ready to once again ROCK OUR WORLD!! One of the most highly anticipated new shows coming to the Great Bright Way later this year is MJ: the musical.

A few weeks ago, the front of house billboards have been updated outside the show’s soon-to-be home at Broadway’s Neil Simon Theatre. Not only there was a crew putting it all together, the production’s star Tony nominee Ephraim M. Sykes showing off the iconic Michael Jackson dance moves. DID YOU KNOW: When new shows are being developed for Broadway, there are an early set of songs written that later get cut or recycled. Even cut songs from shows would even earn cult followings. One of those notable tunes came from the thrilling musical smash hit Jekyll & Hyde. The song is BRING ON THE MEN.

In case anyone may not know, BRING ON THE MEN is performed close towards the middle of the 1st act. It introduces the character of “Lucy Harris”, a plucky but vulnerable prostitute working in dark, gritty, and sexy nightclub called “The Red Rat” dreaming of a brighter life. BREAKING NEWS: 2 time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster is set to release her first book this Fall. The book entitled HOOKED: HOW CRAFTING SAVED MY LIFE is set to hit the shelves beginning October 12th, 2021 from Grand Central Publishing.

The book is part memoir and guidebook, It follows the versatile stage and screen star (returning to Broadway later this year in The Music Man) as she shares personal, funny, and intimate stories along with reflecting how crafting has kept her sane while getting through the highs and lows of family, love, and show business.
