WICKED!!! This film is already getting a lot of early excitement and buzz from fans everywhere.

Under the direction of Jon M. Chu & distributed by Universal Pictures, WICKED will be released as a 2-part film. PART 1 (which will be the musical’s first act) comes out November 22nd, 2024. PART 2 (being the storyline of the musical’s second act) will be released November 26th, 2025.

IT IS TIME!!! Disney’s Award winning smash hit
The Lion King continues to have audiences ROARING on their feet worldwide from our NYC backyard, London’s West End, and more. Now, the show’s ongoing North American National Tour has the ultimate HAKUNA MATTA lineup of new cast members joining this Fall!!!
Starting September 24th, 2024 in Greenville, SC, the new LION KING Tour cast members will include…..
Ensemble member Erick D. Patrick graduating to the show’s titular character of ‘Simba”,
Darnell Abraham (last seen as “George Washington” on the International Tour of
Hamilton) taking on the throne as “King Mufasa”,
Additional Ensemble member Thembelihle Cele taking over the role of the brave “Nala”,
Sam Linda joins as whacky laughing hyena “Ed”,
Judson Williams who will make history as the first African American actor to take on the role of everyone’s favorite warthog “Pumbaa”.
The tour’s current stars Darian Sanders, Gerald Ramsey, John E. Brady, Khalifa White, and Robbie Swift will all take their final PRIDE ROCK bows on September 22nd, 2024.

AND I THINK TO MYSELF!!! This season, Tony Award winner James Monroe Iglehart (Aladdin, Memphis, Hamilton, and last seen in Spamalot) is set to deliver another Broadway showstopping performance as will star as the great legendary ‘Louis Armstrong” in the new musical
A Wonderful World this Fall.
Under the co-direction of Iglehart, plus Christopher Renshaw, and Broadway favorite Christina Sajous, the show will be SWINGIN’ it 8 times a week at the legendary Studio 54. Previews start October 16th, 2024 and will officially open November 11th, 2024.
Tickets are on sale now online. However tomorrow if you’re in the Times Square area, Iglehart will help kick off the opening of the show’s Box Office with a full scale New Orleans style parade with members of the cast and a New Orleans style jazz band at 10am. If will all start in Duffy Square before marching it’s way to Studio 54’s Box Office for a ribbon cutting ceremony.
WONDERFUL WORLD tells the story of New Orleans jazz singer and trumpeter Louis Armstrong’s rise to fame. You can expect many of his notable standards that made him an international name.
It previously played a world premiere out of town tryout in Chicago last year earning rave reviews.

RAZZLE DAZZLE NEWS: Latin Grammy Award winning singer Sebastian Yatra is set to show us Amigos that ALL HE CARES ABOUT IS…..AMOR!!!! He will be joining the Broadway cast of the long running revival of
Chicago this holiday season in the role of “Billy Flynn”.
Yatra’s engagement at the Imperial Theatre will be a 6-week run from November 25th-December 22nd, 2024.
Current “Billy Flynn” himself Broadway favorite Max von Essen will depart November 24th, 2024.

Last night, Broadway favorite Kyle Selig (
Mean Girls original “Aaron Samuels” plus The Book of Mormon) took over as the new leading man in the cast of the Tony nominated smash hit
Water For Elephants at the Imperial Theatre.
Selig succeeded original cast member
Grant Gustin (TV’s The Flash and Glee) as Circus Veterinarian “Jacob Jankowski”. Gustin played his final performance this past Sunday. Next up for the versatile stage and screen star, he’s about to welcome a 2nd child.
