Tony winner Daveed D. Diggs is taking his act to Sesame Street. The original Hamilton: An American Musical star will be appearing on the show as one of the new Noodle brothers in the revamped revival of the classic Elmo’s World segment. Ana (a local NY/NJ performer) serving as the alternate/standby for Kim.
Lianah is no stranger to performing Miss Saigon – Musical having appeared in a local production not too long ago. Get a first listen of her beautiful voice as Kim. Besides doing the musical and other community/regional shows, she has been making her mark in the NYC scene. She is a National YoungArts Foundation Foundation Theater Winner & an Apollo Theater Amateur night at the Apollo Star of Tomorrow Champion. She has also performed at The Garden, Paper Mill Playhouse (as part of the theater’s show choir), Barclays Center , Lincoln Center, & even at the White House.
Miss Saigon is set to return to it’s original Broadway home where it ran for 10 years, The Broadway Theatre. It will begin previews on March 1st, 2017, officially open on March 23rd, 2017, and run for a limited run till January 13th, 2018.

This production of SUNSET BOULEVARD (based on the acclaimed production recently performed in London’s West End from the English National Opera) is a semi-staging production featuring a 40 piece orchestra on the stage (making it the largest Broadway orchestra for the first time in 80 years). The revival is a limited 16 week engagement at Broadway’s Palace Theatre. Previews will begin February 2nd, 2017, Open on February 9th, 2017, and run till May 28th, 2018.

BREAKING NEWS: The legendary Barbra Streisand has another concert lined up in NY this upcoming spring. The Award winning entertainer will be one of the few singers to give a concert in the newly renovated Nassau Coliseum. No word on the official dates of the concert but it’s expecting to be in Early April or May.
On April 5th, 2017, the first concert will officially be the legendary Billy Joel (who actually has won a Tony in 2003 for his work on his jukebox dance musical MOVIN’ OUT)!
Barbra Streisand will be among the first performers to christen the newly renovated Nassau Coliseum in Long Island. According to the report, the legendary singer will perform for two nights in either April or early May.

Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig announced today that Bring It On star Taylor Louderman will return to Broadway this winter, joining the Broadway company of Kinky Boots as ‘Lauren’ in the Tony Award-winning musical, beginning January 16, 2016.
