No word has been said on which roles that Swift, Corden, and McKellen will be playing in the film.
This will also mark as the 2nd major filmed production of CATS. The musical was previously made as a direct-to-video production based on Sir Trevor Nunn and Gillian Lynne’s original stage production. Not only the direct-to-video production of CATS was released to video, it was also aired on Great Performances l PBS in 1999 which also brought more people to see the show on Broadway and across the country.
