In addition according to reports including here and on Broadway message boards, several shows have stopped doing post-show stage door for several days till the virus is cured. Also for the shows that do stage door, cast members will be bringing their own pens and sharpies to sign. However, be reminded of the following FOR NOW of both your Broadway experience and even to EVERYONE who plans to come on our tours…

  1. AVOID SUPER CLOSE CONTACT: We know you love to spread your love to your favorite performers.

  2. COVER YOUR NOSE AND MOUTH: Even if you're not sick, still do it so you won't get others and keep yourself healthy.

  3. WASH / CLEAN THOSE HANDS – Remember to take an additional 20 seconds with soap and water (yup, we all know Intermission restroom lines are a pest too)

  4. AVOID TOUCHING THE EYES, NOSE, AND MOUTH

  5. HAVE GOOD HEALTHY HABITS

  6. IF YOU'RE ILL, DON'T GO!!! – We know many of you booked your tickets months in advanced. However please don't go if you're ill because we don't want anyone to get what you got. Luckilly, you're able to reschedule your tickets with the Box Office for a late date performance. Same with stage door.

    Thoughts?!!

Commentary: From Broadway to Chicago’s theater district, coronavirus attacks our human need to gather together
