BREAKING NEWS: David Byrne and his 11 piece gray-suited band is back!!!! We are so excited to announce that American Utopia is officially set to head back to Broadway for a 2nd encore engagement next year for a strictly limited engagement. The first performance is set for September 11th, 2021 at a Braodway house TBD.
AMERICAN UTOPIA is a unique Theatrical experience that combines music & theater enrolled into one. It features Byrne performing songs from the album of the same name with an 11 piece barefooted band. It previously played an acclaimed limited engagement sold out run at Broadway's Hudson Theatre where it ran for 14 previews and 106 regular performances.
For a taste of this incredible show, you will be able to watch the filmed performed of the show (during its run last year) on your TV screens this film. Under the direction of Spike Lee, AMERICAN UTOPIA will air on HBO this Saturday, October 17th, 2020.
