Eric Anderson took his final bow in Waitress the Musical this past Sunday at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre before setting off to join the cast of Pretty Woman The Musical.

During his final WAITRESS curtain call, the show’s Tony winning director Diane Paulus and it’s Tony and Grammy nominated composer and returning leading lady Sara Bareilles came on stage to give a speech. From there, Eric Anderson took center stage and surprised the audience with 2 songs from the show that never made it in the final cut Broadway and back when the show started at American Repertory Theater.

Beginning tonight, newcomer Benny Elledge will take on duties as the new boss of Joe’s Diner himself “Cal”.

Happy Trails Eric!! We cannot wait to see you back on Broadway this Fall!!

Break a leg and Welcome to Broadway Benny!!

Two surprise songs here that never made it the whole way to Broadway. #ThankYouEric! #CantWAITressToSeeWhatYouDoNext
