Today is a bittersweet day as the VOLCANO erupts on Escape to Margaritaville: The Musical as it ends its Broadway run at the Marquis Theatre. Following the final curtain call, the show will have played 29 previews and 124 regular performances here on the Great White Way.
However, the fun in the CARRIBEAN SUNSHINE is NOT even over after Broadway. You will be able to experience a CHEESEBURGER IN PARADISE in a city near you as the Jimmy Buffett musical will once again be hitting the road. This time, the show will embark on a FULL OUT year long US National Tour beginning Fall 2019 in Providence, Rhode Island. The previously did a 3 city Pre-Broadway tour this past Fall before it came here to New York City.
In addition, you can see Jimmy Buffett and the whole original Broadway cast of ESCAPE TO MARGARITTAVILLE reunite one last time as they travel to our Nation’s Capitol of Washington D.C to perform live on the West Lawn stage for the A Capitol Fourth concert. Be sure to tune in to see them on PBS this Wednesday.
