BREAKING NEWS: THE BOY IN THE DRESS' debut BOTH into the SPOTLIGHT and on the big screen will have to wait a little longer. It has just been announced that due to the continuation of safety precautions of the COVID-19 pandemic, the film adaptation of the Olivier Award nominated smash hit EVERYBODY'S TALKING ABOUT JAMIE will delay its Theatrical release to the beginning of this upcoming year 2021.

Instead of it's originally October 2020 release, the new film from 20th Century Studios and directed by Jonathan Butterell will now be released on January 22nd, 2021. The announcement was revealed by the new film's star Max Harwood.

It also will give the cast and creative team some extra time in preparing for a huge promotional campaign for the release. An official trailer will also be released soon.

Along with its success on screen, the stage adaptation of EVERYBODY'S TALKING ABOUT JAMIE is expecting to return to the West End later this Fall. It's official reopening night at London's Apollo Theatre is set for November 12th, 2020.
