RUN AND TELL THAT! It has just been announced that the highly anticipated London revival of the Award winning smash hit Hairspray will still be dancing its way back into the West End. However, it will now begin this Fall 2020 at the London Coliseum. The new limited engagement run is now set for September 1st – November 8th, 2020.

The London return (remounting the original Jack O'Brien and Jerry Mitchell production) was initially set to play an 18 week engagement from April 23rd-August 29th, 2020. However, the production was effected during this horrific time of the Coronavirus crisis with many Theaters abruptly shutting down their shows everywhere.

When HAIRSPRAY does begin its London run, it will still be led by….

West End legend Michael Ball reprising his 2008 Olivier Award winning performance as "Edna Turnblad",

newcomer Lizzie Bea as "Tracy Turnblad",

Celebrated comedic British star Paul Merton as "Wilbur Turnblad",

Broadway and West End favorite Marisha Wallace as "Motormouth Mabel",

Acclaimed British stage and screen star Rita Simons as "Velma Von Tussel",

Newcomer Georgia Anderson as "Amber Von Tussel",

West End veteran Michael Vinsen (who previously appeared in the Ensemble and understudied "Link" in the original West End engagement of HAIRSPRAY) taking on the role of "Corny Collins",

West End veteran Ashley Samuels as "Seaweed J. Stubbs",

newcomer Mari McGinlay as "Penny Lou Pingleton",

and more.
