THRILLIFYING NEWS: Brittney Johnson is set to move up to being the fulltime principal "Glinda" of WICKED The Musical on Broadway for an entire month. You can see her COME AND GO BY BUBBLE from March 3rd-26th, 2020 at the Gershwin Theatre. The actress took to social media to announce her excitement along with additional dates that she will NOT be performing the role.
Current Broadway "Glinda" Ginna Claire Mason will take a leave of absence from THE MERRY OLD LAND OF OZ to shoot an independent film. She will return around end of March / beginning of April.
For Brittney Johnson (who previously appeared on the Great White Way in the revivals of Les Misérables and Sunset Boulevard), she made WICKED history as the first woman of color to play the beautiful, bubbly, and POPULAR Good Witch herself.
