From the 2012 Tony Awards, Paul Nolan (currently in Escape to Margaritaville: The Musical) as “Jesus”, Josh Young as “Judas”, the company of the most recent Broadway revival perform the show’s title song.
That recent revival was originally produced at the Stratford Festival in Ontario, Canada back in 2011. Following the success of that engagement, the production was then moved on to La Jolla Playhouse and ending up on Broadway in 2012 playing the Neil Simon Theatre for a total of 140 performances. The production was nominated for 2 Tonys that year including Best Revival of a Musical but lost the categories.
