BRING ON THE TONY AWARD QUITTERS!! Due to the worst reviews, ticket sales, and receiving no Tony Awards nominations, the VOLCANO erupts on Escape to Margaritaville: The Musical as the show is set to close at the Marquis Theatre on July 1st, 2018. Following the final performance, it will have played 29 previews and 124 regular performances.
However, the fun is NOT even over after Broadway. You will be experiencing a CHEESEBURGER IN PARADISE as the Jimmy Buffett will once again be hitting the road. This time, the show will embark on a FULL OUT year long US National Tour beginning Fall 2019 in Providence, Rhode Island.
In addition, you can see Jimmy Buffett and the whole original Broadway cast reunite one last time as they travel to our Nation’s Capitol of Washington D.C. You will be able to tune in to PBS and see them perform live on the West Lawn stage performing at the A Capitol Fourth concert.
