BREAKING NEWS: Katherine McPhee will be extending her run in Waitress the Musical at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre this summer.
The American Idol, Smash, and Scorpion star will end her initial engagement in the Tony and Grammy nominated Sara Bareilles musical on June 17th, 2018. However, she is scheduled to return for a 2nd shift at the Diner on July 15th, 2018 through August 19th, 2018.
No word has been said on who will be filling for McPhee in the lead role of pregnant pie maker “Jenna” from June 19th, 2018 through July 14th, 2018.

Katharine McPhee Extends Her Run in WAITRESS
The producers of Broadway’s hit Waitress announced today that Katharine McPhee will take another shift at the pie diner when she extends her engagement, returning to the show from July 5 ? August 19. She made her Broadway debut in the show on April 10; her current engagement ends on June 17.
