BREAKING NEWS: MCC Theater will be presenting their annual MISCAST Gala this month. Instead of it being done in a Live Theater Fancy Gala setting, it will be performed virtually on September 13th, 2020 at 8pm EST only on YouTube for FREE for all Theater lovers to watch.
In case anyone may not be familiar with MISCAST, it's MCC Theater's annual gala concert that supports the company's future of producing new shows, their Youth Company, and their in-school partnerships (serving BOTH NYC public high school students and their literary development work with emerging playwrights). celebration. The concert features some of the biggest names from The Great Bright Way (as well as Film and TV) as they center stage belting out Broadway songs from roles in which they would never be cast.

MCC Theater announced today that members of the original Broadway cast of Hairspray will reunite for Miscast20. The gala will take place Sunday, September 13, 2020 at 8PM ET on MCC Theater's YouTube Channel, and will be available to watch through Thursday, September 17.
