BREAKING NEWS: A stage adaptation of Yann Martel's Man Booker Prize winning novel and the acclaimed Award winning film Life of Pi is coming to London's West End in 2021!!!

This new production was adapted for the stage by Lolita Chakrabarti and originally in the Summer 2019 in Sheffield, England at the Crucible Theatre. Under the direction of Max Webster along with movement and puppetry by Finn Caldwell, it will be making its way to London's West End at Wyndham's Theatre beginning September 26th, 2021 for a strictly limited engagement.

The production originally was supposed to debut in the West End earlier this past Summer 2020. However, it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic,

LIFE OF PI tells the story of a young 16 year old Indiana boy from Pondicherry who survives 227 days on a lifeboat in the Pacific Ocean on a lifeboat following being shipwrecked. He also spends it with a Bengal tiger. The original novel was well received in 2001 winning the Man Booker Prize for fiction. It later went on to become an acclaimed 2012 film winning 4 Academy Awards.

When the show returns, majority of its main cast is expecting to be the same led by….

Hiran Abeysekara in the titular role,
Mina Anwar as "Ma",
Sagar Arya as "Father",
Kirsten Foster as "Lulu Chen",
and
a Full Ensemble cast.
