BREAKING NEWS: There's some new and familiar faces heading to the mystical land of Agrabah next month, Disney's smash hit Aladdin – The Musical will be welcoming an exciting lineup of cast members into the Broadway company next month just in time for its 5th Anniversary.

Australian performer Ainsley Melham will make his Broadway debut and take over the title role (which he previously originated in the show's Australian company),

Broadway veteran Michael James Scott will take over the role of the showstopping "Genie" (which he previously served as the original Broadway standby and then later went on to originate the role in the Australian company),

and Mike Longo will take on the role of sidekick "Kassim" (which he previously performed on the National Tour).

Melham and Longo will begin run in the Broadway production on February 19th, 2019 at the New Amsterdam Theatre replacing Telly Leung and Steel Burkhardt (who will both take their final bows on February 17th, 2019).

Meanwhile for Scott, his run in the Broadway company will begin February 15th, 2019 and will perform for a strictly limited engagement through September 15th, 2019. During that time, the Broadway production's current "Genie" Major Attaway (who takes his final bow on February 14th, 2019) will move to the National Touring company. Attaway will return to the Broadway Company in the Fall.
