Tonight, Broadway says SO LONG DEARIE once again to everyone’s favorite street smart Matchmaker as the 2017 Tony winning revival of Hello, Dolly on Broadway (starring Tony winners Bette Midler and David Hyde-Pierce) ends its run at the Shubert Theatre. Following the final curtain call, this production will have played 34 previews and 549 regular performances here on the Great White Way.

In addition, HELLO, DOLLY will have made history playing a complete total of 3,737 PERFORMANCES here in New York City. That consists of…

the original 1964 production’s of 2,844 performances,

the 1975 revival’s 47 performances,

the 1978 revival’s 147 performances,

the 1995 revival’s 116 performances,

and this current revival lasting a full total of 583 performances.

For those who weren’t able to get to come to New York City to see this acclaimed revival of one of the most iconic musicals in Broadway history, no worries. A US National Tour of this production as previously announced is set to kick off this Fall 2018 starring Tony Award winning legend Betty Buckley.
