BREAKING NEWS: Stagehands at New York’s famed Metropolitan Opera are officially set to head back to work beginning tomorrow. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the 300 crew members were on strike and locked out due a disagreement over how long and lasting pandemic payment cuts would be. However, the lockdown has officially ended with a deal thanks to the IATSE (International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees) Local One Union this past Saturday. Check out more information below about the deal.
The sounds of angelic music from New York’s Metropolitan Opera will once again be heard once again this Fall.
