With live entertainment being shut down due to the Coronavirus, people in the entertainment industry are bringing the magic of what they do on stage live from the comfort of audience members own homes. One of them is New York's famed Metropolitan Opera.

As previously announced, The Met suspended all scheduled performances of rotating operas till March 31st, 2020. However to keep fans not disappointed, the company will be launching FREE previously recorded livestreams from THE MET LIVE IN HD library. Majority of all the operas get a LIVE IN HD screening in movie theaters for one night only before making its way onto PBS Great Performances at The Met series. Even if you don't have a subscription, you will be able to watch a full Metropolitan Opera on the company's website for FREE!!! The lineup will be as follows….

March 16th, 2020 – The 2010 livestream of Bizet's CARMEN

March 17th, 2020 – The 2008 livestream of Puccini's LA BOHEME (the famous production at The Met),

March 18th, 2020 – The 2015 livestream of Verdi's IL TRAVATORE,

March 19th, 2020 – The 2018 livestream of Verdi's LA TRAVIATA,

March 20th, 2020 – The 2008 livestream of Donizetti's LA FILLE DU REGIMENT

March 21st, 2020 – The 2009 livestream of Donizetti's LUCIA DI LAMMERMOOR,

and March 22nd, 2020 – The 2007 livestream of Tchaikovsky's EUGENE ONEGIN.

Get ready for the chills and thrills of your live by some of the world's greatest stars in classical music. All livestreams begin at 7:30pm every night on the Metropolitan Opera's website. Following the first stream, it will be available to watch exactly for 20 hours.
