BREAKING NEWS: Theatergoers will have to wait another year for the most SPECTACULAR, SPECTACULAR show to hit a city near them. We are talking about the 14 time Tony nominated Moulin Rouge. The tour of the acclaimed stage musical (based on the 2001 Oscar winning film) is now set to CAN-CAN all across North America beginning February 2022 in Chicago, IL at the James M. Nederlander Theatre. Additional dates and casting will be announced soon.
Originally, Moulin Rouge! The Musical's National Tour was set to begin this Fall 2020 in New Orleans, LA. However, it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Along with its National Tour, MOULIN ROUGE will be returning to its inaugural Broadway home at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in 2021. In addition, productions are set to open in both London's West End and in Australia (where it all began).
