BREAKING NEWS: Olivier Award nominated powerhouse Rachel Tucker (WICKED, The Last Ship, and Come From Away) is set to release a brand new album out next month. This new solo album from the Ireland born West End & Broadway star will be a brand new EP entitled LESSONS. Featuring 6 tracks of original and classics, it’s set to be released on May 21st, 2021. Pre-Orders is now available on Tucker’s website.
The album itself is only Tucker’s 3rd studio solo project. Her debut album THE REASON was released in 2013 from Big Hand Records. Her sophomore album entitled ON THE ROAD was released in 2017. Both albums featured a blend of Musical Theater favorites & Pop/Rock songs.
Prior before the COVID-19 pandemic, Rachel Tucker had just joined Broadway company of the Award winning and groundbreaking 9/11 musical Come From Away as “Captain Beverley Bass’. She previously originated the role in the show’s London company where she was nominated for her 1st Olivier Award. Tucker is expecting to continue with the show in New York when Broadway reopens.
