LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, PLEASE WELCOME… You might recognize her voice for the way she delivers those famous words. We are talking about Randy Thomas the Voice Over Artist.
For those who may not know, Randy Thomas is known in the Entertainment industry as America's Premiere Voice Announcer. You might have heard her voice for Entertainment Tonight, ABC Nightline, Playhouse Disney, and more. However, she is historically well known as the first female EVER to serve as the "Voice Of God" announcer for The Academy Awards (a.k.a. The Oscars) 10 times , the Emmy Awards 5 times, the Kennedy Center Honors, and Broadway's biggest night of the year…. The Tony Awards (which she continues to do for the past 20 consecutive years).
Be sure to tune in to the Oscars tomorrow night to hear that "Voice of God" ringmaster at 8pm EST on ABC7. In addition, be sure to tune in June 9th, 2019 to CBS to hear Randy announce the Tonys once again for her 21st year.
