One of the stars of the original film version of Waitress himself Eddie Jemison is set to make his Broadway Debut in the stage musical version of the same project next month, The Chicago born actor will make his Broadway Debut reprising his role of the magical, romantic, and odd diner customer "Ogie". He will begin performances at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre on February 11th, 2019 and will play a strictly limited engagement through April 28th, 2019.
Jemison succeeds the musical's original scene stealer Tony nominee Christopher Fitzgerald who will take his final bow on February 10th, 2019

Waitress announced today that Eddie Jemison, who played Ogie in the 2007 film of Waitress, will make his Broadway debut in the role beginning on February 11 and playing through April 28.
