BREAKING NEWS: Queen's Radial Park is continuing its all new BROADWAY AT THE DRIVE-IN series. This unique experience combining both a screening of a film and Live performance is about to rock your world. As of last night till October 25th, 2020, the series will now present the late Prince's legendary film PURPLE RAIN.

This powerful story (about a talented rising musician torn with personal struggles) will feature an unforgettable blend of the iconic 1984 film and spectacular live performances. There are moments of the film where highlighted songs will be muted and replaced by an 11 piece band and an awesome cast consisting of….

American Idol and Stomp favorite Aaron Marcellus as "The Kid",

Grammy Award nominee Lenesha Randolph as "Mother",

Nick Rashad Burroughs (Broadway's Kinky Boots and was appearing in Tina before the COVID-19 shutdown) as "Morris",

and

Chevonne Ricci as "Apollonia".

With it being a DRIVE-IN THEATER experience, there will be some strict safety procedures since we are still coping with the horrific COVID-19 pandemic. Guests will be able to enjoy the interactive, theatrical show from the safety of their own vehicles or via reserved picnic tables (close to the screen and stage), with a retro boombox for audio, spaced appropriately for social distancing, are available for those who prefer biking, walking, or taking the ferry to Halletts Point Play.

Ice-cold beverages and movie theater snacks will be available for purchase along with multiple food trucks with on-site dining options.

Following the requirements of government and health officials, Radial Park will implement strict health and safety protocols including temperature checks upon arrival via an infrared, touchless thermometer; color-coded wristbands for social distancing; "lifeguards" on duty who will be ready to blow the whistle to enforce strict social distancing; and more.

Following PURPLE RAIN, other upcoming BROADWAY AT THE DRIVE IN Film To Concerts will include The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Rent.
