RENT THROWBACKS: Other than its original production, there have been numerous restaged presentations of RENT worldwide. One of those critically acclaimed productions happened in 2013 in celebration of the show's 20th Anniversary of its first major reading. This is a semi-staged concert production that started off as a one night only concert presentation in Blackpool. It then went on to tour all over the UK.. This version starred West End and Broadway star Kerry Ellis as "Mimi" along with a full British cast.
