FIRST LISTEN: The live event of the year is almost here. We are talking about FOX's upcoming live televised presentation of the Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning rock musical RENT. With the live presentation just almost a week away, it has just been announced that the 2 disc soundtrack for Rent Live is set to be released on February 1st, 2019. Be prepared to sing along with all new renditions of the songs that changed the face of American Musical Theatre in the 90's thanks to the late Jonathan Larson performed by a full all-star cast including Jordan Fisher, Tinashe, Brandon Viktor Dixon, Vanessa Hudgens, and more.
To give everyone that early taste of RENT LIVE, one of the singles from the new soundtrack has been released. This is a radio edited version of RENT's theme song that has become a holiday anthem… SEASONS OF LOVE.
Be sure to tune in to Rent on FOX on January 27th, 2019 at 8/7 central.
